Once she suggested in her Labourer Group session about the Right to Information law 2009 that, how can we get information from GO, NGO officials & institutions. After the session one of her Group members asked how they could get information on why they were not given wages for the last 6 months? The group works under a project implemented by Local Government Engineer Department (LGED) but they did not receive their wages for 6 months. Considering all this, Jeyasmin motivated them to apply to get information about the waging process of LGED. She downloaded a form from the Information Commissions website and helps them to fill it up. The next morning 09/06/2012 Jeyasmin went with them to submit it to Upazila LGED office. After 11 days, dated on 02/07/2012 all the labourers got their wages for one month and then on 03/08/2012 got full dues.
